Arkh is a watery distillate,which is prepared by heating the drugs soaked in water,of substances which volatise at different temperatures.They are equalent to aquae of western pharmacopea.Arakh should be stored in tightly stoppered glass bottles.Arakh must be mixed with equal quantity of water before use
